Does it look great in person? Everyone has been complaining about how it doesn’t look like the last decade of identical looking cars that I havent heard whether or not it looks good in its own right.

Best angle is the rear. It’s not bad at all though from any angle. Makes the others look dated and meh.

I’m fine with it looking different. I had grown tired with Aston’s “oh look at this new car that is slightly smaller/bigger/longer/wider/lighter/heavier than all our other cars, it’s totally new you guys” routine a while ago.

You know, I’m kinda seeing a bit of Lexus LC500 in the overall proportions (especially the rear fenders) and blacked out C-pillar.

That’s not a bad thing either, I really like the LC.

I really dig the LC500 even though I generally am not a Lexus fan. The production ride height & wheel offsets are a bit disappointing though.

I might actually go Lexus if given the choice. It’s the best execution of their new styling, whereas the Aston feels a bit lost stylistically. I’d take either though :)

The Aston has far better proportions than the Lexus, tbh. I love/hate the LC; I love the styling but it’s got a bunch of proportional weirdness that bother me.

i’m sure with the TRAC off (fully), it should shred pretty good. It’s a very quick car. I reminds me of a very luxurious C6 ZR1 as far as how it feels when pushed a bit.

well bought mr tan sport jacket! congrats!

in photos the design looks a bit fussy with the hood vents, the front spoiler in black, the details of the rocker panels, and whatever that black piece is trailing the front wheel well. but i imagine in photos our eyes tend to gravitate to these points rather than consume the car as a whole. im sure its stunning in person.

the black (cf?) spoiler and bottom of the rocker make the car look like it rides higher than it is. combined with those bulging rear fenders the car hast more of a lithe athletic appearance than the burly athleticism we’re used to.

speaking of those fenders, im wondering how many paint chips they are going to sustain from rocks kicked up by the front tires. see any of the wide body 911s, that used to even come with black protector shields here. (i think newer 911 turbos and c4s’s have gone to a clear bra protection there.)

the rear fender “hips” look pretty rad. Lol heck yeah there is already rock chip on this one since it’s the touring demo. All those black trim items do shape the car. When dirty, they look a bit tacky
